Cancellation, Payment & Refund Policy

How payments, cancellations and refunds work for Akashganga — Dev Deepawali 2026.

Last updated: 14 July 2026 · Applies to Akashganga · Dev Deepawali, Tuesday, 24 November 2026, Ramnagar Fort, Varanasi.

1. Payment Schedule

All quoted rates are net rates and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified. Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the payment due for the relevant phase, and a booking is treated as fully confirmed only on receipt of the full amount.

Payment PhasePayment PeriodAmount Payable
Phase 1Till 31st July 202625% booking deposit (Non-Refundable)
Phase 21st August – 30th September 2026Additional 50% of the total booking value
Phase 31st October – 10th November 2026Balance 25% of the total booking value

A minimum 25% advance payment is mandatory to block a seat under any early-bird offer. Due to the limited inventory and high-demand nature of Dev Deepawali, any booking received on or after 1 October 2026 requires 100% payment and is subject to 100% cancellation charges.

2. Cancellation & Refund Schedule

Cancellation charges are calculated on the total booking value and depend on the date on which a written cancellation request is received by us.

Any ticket amount stands non-refundable from 1 October 2026 onwards, except as expressly stated in the table above.

3. Force Majeure & Events Beyond Our Control

Akashganga shall not be liable to refund, repay or compensate any amount where the event is cancelled, postponed, curtailed, relocated or affected — in whole or in part — by any cause beyond our reasonable control. This includes, without limitation, orders, restrictions or directions of any government, court, police, administrative or local authority; withdrawal or change of permissions at the venue; acts of God, natural disaster, extreme weather, flood or change in the level or condition of the river Ganges; fire, epidemic, pandemic or public-health measures; war, terrorism, civil unrest or strikes; and failure of essential utilities or third-party services.

In such circumstances Akashganga may, at its sole discretion, reschedule the experience, offer a substitute experience, or issue a credit — but is under no obligation to provide a monetary refund.

4. No Refund for Dissatisfaction or No-Show

Once a ticket is purchased — whether through online or offline mode — the purchase is final and constitutes acceptance of these terms. Refunds will notbe provided on the grounds of subjective dissatisfaction, a change of mind, a “bad experience”, partial use, late arrival, or failure to attend (no-show). Individual elements of the programme (such as performances, menu items, timings or the sequence of experiences) may change without notice and do not entitle a guest to a refund.

5. How to Request a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to reservations@theakashganga.co.in and are effective only from the date we acknowledge receipt. Where a refund is due under the schedule above, it will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period, typically 15–30 business days, after deducting applicable charges.

6. Transfers

Tickets are transferable for exclusive partners only, unless otherwise agreed by Akashganga in writing. A full ticket applies to every child aged 6 years and above; children below the age of 6 are admitted free of charge.

This policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.
